Motor oil brands, standards and used-oil recycling. Use the viscosity and specification in your owner's manual, and look for the API "donut" and starburst symbols, which mean the oil is licensed under API's Engine Oil Licensing and Certification System. Never dump used oil: most auto parts stores and many service stations take it for free, and EPA and API show how. Brands and stores below are commercial.
