Splash blocks, downspout extensions, gutters and yard drainage for keeping roof water away from your foundation. Every downspout should empty onto a splash block or extension that carries water several feet from the house, onto ground that slopes away; the model building code (IRC) calls for at least 6 inches of fall in the first 10 feet in most cases. Water that pools against the foundation leads to wet basements, mold and settling. Better still, send downspouts to a rain barrel or rain garden, or onto a lawn, never onto a neighbor's lot, a driveway or the street; some towns have stormwater rules about where runoff can go. Call 811 before digging drains. Companies below are commercial.
